MONTERO comes from the union of the terms Montepulciano and San Severo and want to emphasize the strong link of this important grape variety to our area.
The MONTERO is one of the first labels marketed by our company in the 1960s. In the blend, besides the Montepulciano, a small part of Cabernet Sauvignon helps to soften vigorous tannins and give more complex aromas.
