PUGLIA I.G.P. WHITE

    • CATAPANUS was the name of the provincial delegate officer of the Byzantine emperor, in charge of military and civilian government ‘s entire southern Italy in the Byzantine period. To this authoritative figure we wanted to dedicate the most important white grape vine in our territory: the BOMBINO WHITE.
    • Appellation: PUGLIA I.G.P. WHITE
    • Grapes: Bombino bianco 100%
    • Production area: “Coppanetta” estate – San Severo countryside
    • Vineyards: 2,5 Ha. planted in 1973 with a density of 1.800 vines/Ha.
    • Training system: pergola pugliese
    • Soil: clay and limestone
    • Yield: 80 q.li/Ha
    • Winemaking and ageing:Soft pressed and decanted at low temperature. Stainless steel tank fermentation at 15°C for 20 days. After the fermentation the wine is aged. For 5 months in the tank and for 1 month in bottle
