The hot and little rainy year has given a healthy and ripe grape which results in a wine of intense color, the scarcity of rains at high temperatures has determined a lowering of acid levels giving the wines characteristics of intensity, alcohol and roundness , with precise and amalgamated tannins.
Also for this vintage it was necessary to anticipate the harvest by a few weeks to avoid phenomena of water stress on the plants.
The overall results are however very interesting for the general balance that we find in the wines produced in this vintage.
